Chlorine-dioxide chemistry can bleach fabric and occasionally affect hair with heavy repeat exposure. For high-visibility animals, discuss test applications with your vet and consider localized testing prior to show ring use.
Topical species-specific wound care is commonly permitted, and chlorine dioxide is not listed as a prohibited systemic substance; always document treatment, Lot/COA and consult the competition authority and your veterinarian for final clearance.
